Pigs and Flakes earns bronze award

Pigs and Flakes has won the Bronze/3rd Place award in the 2026 Feathered Quill Book Awards for the Teen category, competing with over 200 entries. Winners will be posted to the Feathered Quill social media pages and their website.

Encourage your 11–18-year-olds to organize a book club. It’s a low-risk way to discuss contemporary topics. In addition, you might find this recent blog about tracking interesting because it’s related to novel #2.

Uncommon AP Club and Pigs and Flakes is available on Amazon in print and on Kindle. I’ve priced the Kindle version low to promote paperless reading. You can download the free app on your phone. It’s handy to have something to read during commercials and while waiting for appointments. Better than playing games on our phones, right?
